Citywide Cleanup on August 12, 2023

It's Time for some Cleaning! The City of Archie will be hosting another citywide cleanup on Saturday, August 12, 2023, from 8AM-12PM at Hodges Park for city residents only. You will be asked for proof of residency. You can provide this with a water bill showing you pay city trash. There will be dumpsters for trash and a separte dumpster for appliances & electronics. City staff will be on site to help load items into the dumpsters, if needed. The following items will NOT be accepted:
*Universal Waste (yard waste: leaves, limbs, grass clippings, shrubs, etc.); *Animal Waste; *Asbestos containing materials; *Closed barrels; *Cans or drums; *Compressed Gas Cylinders; *Explosives; *Anything highly flammable or volatile; *Hazardous waste; *Industrial waste; *Incinerator residual, *Infectious waste; *Liquid waste; *Motor oil; *Pesticides; *PCB's; *Radioactive waste; *Septic tank pumping's or sludge; *Tires; *Paint cans with wet paint = Exception (if the lids are off & the paint is dried inside, they will be accepted)
