No Parking Signs Going Up

The Archie Board of Aldermen voted on November 24, 2024, to impose No Parking on Certain Streets around the school with Ordinance No. 372.  This ordinance causes No parking at any time on either side of N. Iowa Street, from A Highway to Redwood Street, on either side of Redwood Street, from N. Iowa Street to N. Missouri Street, and on the west side of N. MIssouri Street, from Redwood Street to A Highway.  There is a copy of the ordinance on this website under the Government tab, then Code Compliance.  Thank you for your patience as staff puts up these signs.

Citywide Cleanup

The City of Archie will be having a Citywide Cleanup day on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 8:00AM to 12:00PM.  Dumpsters will be located at Hodges Park. City staff will be on site to help load items in the dumpsters if needed.  PROOF OF RESIDENCY INSIDE CITY LIMITS WILL BE REQUIRED. Please present your City utility bill, showing proof you currently pay City trash.

Water Leak Repair

10/28/2024

The City of Archie will be doing a water main leak repair at the corner of Jackson Avenue and N. Truman Street on Tuesday, October 29, 2024.  This will require that we shut down the water for the entire town from 9:00PM to around 4:00AM.  Water will be turned back on as soon as the repair is complete.  We will prepare the site earlier in the day in anticipation of a quick repair and limited down time for the water to be off.  We thank you for your patience as we make this needed repair.  Please contact the City Hall with any questions, 816-293-5601.
